Tnreginet Portal | User Registration Process | Encumbrance Certificate



The Government of Tamil Nadu has launched a web portal named as "Tnreginet Portal" to provide the registration related services to the citizens of Tamil Nadu. One can avail the other Government schemes also on this Portal.


Services Offered Under Tnreginet Portal:-

Below are the list of services one can avail under Tnreginet Portal:-

  • Marriage Certificate Registration
  • Chit Fund Registration
  • Birth and Death Registration
  • Fund Registration
  • Encumbrance Certificate
  • Know Your Jurisdiction
  • PWD Calculator (To calculate Building Value)
  • Check Stamp Duty Valuation
  • Know your Application Status



How to Register on Tnreginet Portal:-

If you want to register yourself on Tnreginet Portal, follow the below steps:-
  • Choose the "User Registration" option under "Registration" tab.
  • You will be redirected to below page.






  • Enter all the details asked.
  • At the end, Select the "Complete Registration" button.
Your Registration process on Tnreginet will be completed now.


                                               TNPDS Smart Ration Card

TN Encumbrance Certificate:-


  • Visit the Official website.
  • Choose the Option "E-Service" on homepage.
  • Select the Option "View EC" under "E-Service" section.
  • Once selected, you will be redirected to below page.




  • Enter the details asked.
  • Click on Search button.
  • Your Encumbrance Certificate will appear on your screen.

Tnreginet Portal - Know Your Jurisdiction :-

  • Visit the Official website of Tnreginet Portal.
  • You will see the option of "More" on the home screen of the website.
  • Click on Portal Utility Services option under the More section.
  • Choose the "Know Your Jurisdiction" option under Portal Utility Services section.
  • You will be asked to enter either Street name or Village name.
  • Click on Search option.

Tnreginet Portal - Birth & Death Search :-

  • Visit the Tnreginet Official Portal.
  • Click on "Search" option under the "More" section.
  • Choose the "Birth & Death" option under the Search section.
  • Select the Search types between Birth and Death.
  • Enter the details (Birth and Death) asked in the form like Certificate Number, Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Mother and Father name.
  • Fill the Captcha Code.
  • Click on Search button now.

Tnreginet Portal - Document Status Check Procedure:-

You can check the application status of your applied application online via Tnreginet Portal.
Just follow the below simple steps in order to track the Document Status:-
  • Visit the Tnreginet Official Portal.
  • Click on "More" option.
  • Choose the Document Status option under the More section.
  • You can search the document via 1) Temporary Deed Number 2) Pending Number and 3) Registration Number.
  • Enter one of the above as per your preference.
  • Once entered, click on Search option.
