The State Government of Tamil Nadu has introduced a new web portal "TN ESEVAI" with an aim to deliver all the services Online to the citizens of Tamil Nadu State. The TN ESEVAI Portal was launched with an aim to cover the remote areas too and to facilitate the citizens of Remote areas and provide them all the government services online via this portal.

In this Portal we will let you know how to track the application status on TN ESEVAI portal, how to apply online for Income Certificate or OBC Certificate, how to login on TN ESEVAI Portal etc.

TN ESEVAI - Online Registration Procedure:-

  • Visit the Official website of TN ESEVAI.
  • Click on Citizen Login option under the Sign In Section on the main page.
  • On the next page, you will see the Login/Sign in dashboard.
  • Choose and click on "New User? Sign Up Here" option.
  • Below New User Registration Page will open in front of you.

  • Fill all the details asked.
  • Click on Sign Up option.
  • Authenticate the OTP sent on your registered Mobile Number.
  • You have successfully registered on TN ESEVAI Portal.  

TN ESEVAI - How to Login on TN ESEVAI Portal?

  • Visit the official website of TN ESEVAI i.e tnesevai.tn.gov.in.
  • Citizen Login option is available on main page under the Sign In Section.

  • Click on "Citizen Login" option.
  • You will be redirected to below web page.

  • You will be asked to enter the User name and Login Password.
  • Fill the Captcha Code.
  • Click on Login option now.
Note:- You can also opt for "Login With Mobile Number" option for Login on TN ESEVAI Portal.

TN ESEVAI - Apply Online for Income Certificate:-

If you are looking to apply online for Income Certificate, follow the below simple steps:-
  • Visit the official Website of TN ESEVAI i.e tnesevai.tn.gov.in.
  • Click on Citizen Login option under the Sign In Section on main page.
  • Enter the User Id and Login Password.
  • Fill the Captcha Code and click on Login option.
  • You will be now on main dashboard page.
  • Click on the Services option under the dashboard tab.
  • Choose the Department Wise option under the Services Section.
  • Click on "Revenue Department" under the Department Wise Section.
  • You will get the Services List under the Revenue Department.
  • Click on "Income Certificate" option.
  • A page will open having some details, read all the details and click on Proceed option.
  • Now an application form will open on your screen.
  • You will be asked to enter the Application CAN Number, Applicant Name, Applicant Father's Name, Valid Mobile Number, Email id and DOB.
  • Click on Search option.
  • Applicant CAN Number details will display on screen, click on Proceed option to continue the process.
  • Now Select all the options like Appellation, Applicant Name and others and fill all the details asked.
  • Upload all the relevant documents.
  • Click on Payment option.
  • You can make the Payment of Rs 60 via Netbanking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI etc.
  • Note down the application Id or Reference Number for future purpose.


TN ESEVAI - Documents Required to Apply for Other Backward Class Certificate:-

  • Applicant Photo.
  • Address Proof
  • Community Certificate
  • Self declaration of Applicant

TN ESEVAI - Apply Online for Other Backward Class (OBC) Certificate:-

  • Visit the official website of TN ESEVAI Portal.
  • You will see the option on Citizen Login on homepage, click on that option.
  • Login to the portal using the essential credential like User Id and Login Password.
  • On the main dashboard, click on Department Wise option under the Services Section.
  • Click on Revenue Department under the Department Wise option.
  • A list of services will open in front of you.
  • Click on Other Backward Class (OBC) Certificate option.
  • A web page will open having some guidelines and details, click on "Proceed" option.
  • Similar to Income Certificate Apply Procedure, you will be asked to enter the Applicant CAN Number, Name, Father's Name, Email Id and Mobile Number.
  • Click on search option.
  • Applicant CAN Number details will be now on your screen.
  • Click on proceed option to further continue the procedure.
  • Now enter the details asked.
  • Upload the relevant documents.
  • Make the Payment (60 Rs.) by any mode ( UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking etc).
  • Note down the Application Id.


TN ESEVAI - Track Application Status Procedure:-

  • Visit the official website of TN ESEVAI Portal.
  • Click on Citizen Login option.
  • Login to TN ESEVAI Portal using the essential credentials like User Id and Login Password.
  • On the main dashboard page, you will see the option of Check Status.
  • Click on that option.
  • You will now be instructed to enter either Application Number or Transaction Id.
  • Once the details entered, click on Fetch option.
  • Your Application Status will be on your screen now.


TN ESEVAI - How to Avail the Services offline via TN ESEVAI Center?

To avail the different Govt. services via offline, follow the below simple steps:-
  • Visit the nearby TNeGA ESEVAI center.
  • Tell the concerned department which Government service you want to avail.
  • You will be given an application form by concerned department.
  • Fill the application form carefully.
  • Attach the relevant documents asked in the application form.
  • Once done, submit the form and make the payment.
  • You will be given a receipt number.
  • Note it down for future reference.
  • You will get the notification of your application status via SMS or Email ID.
  • Once the Govt Service you avail via application has completed or generated, you will be notified to collect it from the nearby TN Esevai Center.
