A Cloud based unique portal has been launched by the Revenue Department of Punjab State Government for the welfare of their Citizens. The Portal was named as "NGDRS Punjab - National Generic Document Registration System - Punjab". This NGDRS portal allows the citizens of Punjab to register their Land or Online Land registration facility. One can also track the Payment status. Earlier, people had to visit the Revenue department for their land registration or other works, but now, with the help of this NGDRS portal, they can do their task by simply register online for revenue related documents.

NGDRS Punjab - Features Of NGDRS Punjab:-
  • Offer the Registration Services to the Citizens of their State.
  • One can book the appointment, check the Property Valuation and many more such services on this portal.
  • Citizens will be given SMS or Email Facility
  • Legacy Data Search option is available on this portal.
  • Dashboard Facility
  • Aadhaar Authentication System
  • Online Payments for Land Registration and e-stamping.
  • eSign and Biometric Authentication while applying for Land Registration 



NGDRS Punjab - Citizen's Online Registration Process:-
  • Visit the NGDRS Punjab official website i.e igrpunjab.gov.in.
  • You will see the option of "Citizen Login" and Organization Login".

  • Choose the Citizen one and Click on "Register option.
  • You will now be redirected to the New User Registration Page.


  • Fill all the details asked like Your Name, Address details, Identity Proof, Aadhar Number, Mobile Number.
  • Now you will be asked to create your username and Login password.
  • Fill the captcha code.
  • Click on Submit option.
  • You registration process has been completed successfully.


NGDRS Punjab - Citizen's Login Process:-
  • Visit the NGDRS Punjab Official website.
  • Choose the Citizen option.
  • Click on Login option.

  • Enter your Username and Login Password.
  • Fill the Captcha Code.
  • Click on "Get OTP" option.
  • You will receive a One time password on your registered mobile number.
  • Authenticate the OTP.
  • Click on Login button to complete the Citizen Login process.


NGDRS Punjab - Online Submit Deeds for Registration/ Online Land Registration Process:-
  • Visit the NGDRS Punjab Official website.
  • Choose the Citizen option and click on Login button.
  • Enter the essential credentials (Username and Login Password) and click on login option.
  • Once you successfully logged in to the portal, you will see the below options on the left side of the page:-
                1) Home
                2) Appointment
                3) Document Entry
                4) Reports
                5) Search
                6) User Management
                7) Valuation
  • Click on "Document Entry" option.
  • You will see there total 9 stages:-
                1) General Info
                2) Party
                3) Witness
                4) Identifier
                5) Fee Calculation
                6) Pre-Registration Summary
                7) Upload Documents
                8) Data Submission
                9) Appointment
  • Fill all the details in each tab carefully.
  • Once all the details entered, visit the SRO Office on the appointment date for further processing.


NGDRS Punjab - Reschedule or Cancellation of Appointment :-

If you want to reschedule or cancel your appointment, you can do it by simply visiting the NGDRS Punjab official website.
  • Visit the NGDRS Punjab Official website.
  • Login to the Citizen Portal.
  • Choose the "Appointment" option on the main dashboard.
  • You will see two options under the Appointment Section:- 
               1) Cancellation of the Appointment
               2) Reschedule of the Appointment
  • Choose one option as per your need.
  • Follow the instruction to complete the further process.


NGDRS Punjab - How to check the Payment Status Online?
  • Visit the NGDRS Punjab Official website.
  • Login to the Citizen Portal.
  • Click on the "Document Entry" option.
  • Choose the "Payment Status" option under the "Document Entry" Section.
  • Enter the details asked and click on submit option.
