Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana is a State Government Health Insurance Scheme which is introduced by Punjab State Government to facilitate the Citizens of Punjab State. The aim behind the execution of this AB-SSBY is to offer financial help or protection to the citizens of Punjab State. Beneficiary will get a E-Card after the successful registration and will get a health coverage amount of Rs 5 Lakh. With the help of this E-Card, one can go for cashless as well as Paperless treatment.


Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana 2021 - Eligibility Criteria to Apply for AB - SSBY 2021/Beneficiary Search Criteria :-

  • Visit the Official website of SHA Punjab i.e sha.punjab.gov.in.
  • "Citizen Corner" option is available on the main page of the website.
  • Click on "Check for Eligibility in Scheme" option under the "Citizen Corner" section.
  • One Can Search for Eligibility Criteria or Beneficiary Search via one of below mentioned options :-
                     1) Ration Card - Ration Card Holder can use their Ration Card Number for Beneficiary Search Criteria.

                     2) Farmer Can use the Search id as first three Character of their District Name + last 6 digit of their aadhaar number + first four character of their name.

                     3) Construction Worker can use the Search id as their Registration Id, issued by BOCWB, Punjab State Government.

                     4) Small Trader can check their Eligibility Criteria via their PAN Card Number as Search Id.

                     5) Yellow Card and Accredited Journalist can create their user id as the first three character of their district name, aadhaar card number last 6 digits (hypen after 3 digit) and starting four character of first name.



Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana 2021 - Documents Required for Online Registration under AB - SSBY 2021 :-
  • Applicant Aadhaar Card.
  • Identification Document of Family Members - One Can use Ration Card, if there is no ration card then one have to sign the Family Declaration form and must have stamped by Sarpanch/Municipal Councillor or Namberdaar.
  • Construction Worker must have registration Card number issued by BOCWB, Punjab.



Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana 2021 - Key Features of AB - SSBY 2021 :-
  • A 5 Lakh Rs Health Insurance Coverage will be given to beneficiary family member every year.
  • One can avail the free indoor treatment facility in both Private as well as Government hospitals.
  • Covid-19 treatment facility is also included under this scheme.

SHA Punjab - How to check the Status of your Card whether its Active or Inactive?
  • Visit the SHA Punjab official website.
  • Click on "Check Active/Inactive Status of ECard" option under the Citizen Corner Section.
  • You will be asked to enter your E-Card Id.
  • Fill the Captcha Code.
  • Click on Check Status option.
  • You will have your result on your screen now.
