                           PM Yuva Scheme

The Central Government of India, under the leadership and supervision of our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has introduced a new Scheme for the Youth of the country and named it as "Mentoring Yuva Scheme". This Yuva Scheme offer the benefits to those section of Youth whose passion is writing and have a good skill and creative mind.


Yuva Scheme 2021 :-

Yuva Scheme i.e Young Upcoming and Versatile Authors Scheme - A scheme for the youth who loves writing as well as creativity. As a part of this Scheme, 75 talented writers or authors will be selected and further trained so that they can express our country culture as well as themselves in future. Selected Candidate will be trained for six months and will be provided a fixed amount of Rs 50,000/month  as a scholarship amount.

This Yuva Scheme offer a great opportunity to all the youth (Authors or Writers) to express their passion for writing and show their talent as well as skills.

As we all know that due to this Covid -19 Pandemic, most of the Youth feels down or you can say that this pandemic creates the negativity in Youth mind. To keep these things in mind and to create a positive learning as well as creative environment, Yuva Scheme has been introduced.


Yuva Scheme 2021 - Selection Procedure for PM Modi Mentoring Yuva Scheme 2021:-

  • Total 75 aspiring Candidates will be selected via the Online contest.
  • The National Book Trust (NBT) will be the body who looks the selection process.
  • The Contest Time has been declared i.e from 4th June to 31st July 2021.
  • All the applicants will be asked to submit a script of at-least 5000 words. The Script should be expressed in such a way that it shows your creativity as well as writing skills so that it goes for a proper book publication as a part of Yuva Mentoship Scheme.
  • Selected Writers or authors name will be announced on 15th August 2021.
  • Each selected candidate will be trained under a nominated mentor.
  • Candidate will be asked to submit the final script.
  • Candidates who have good writing skills as well as creative mind will be announced a winner.
  • Winners declaration will be done on 15th December 2021.
  • Winner's Published Book will be introduced or launched on Yuva Divas i.e 12th January 2022.

  • National Movement Facts
  • Role of Various Places in National Movement
  • Political, Cultural, Economical and Science related themes.

Note - Poetry will not be accepted as a script.

Yuva Scheme 2021 - Where one should submit the Script?

Aspiring Young authors have to submit their script on nbtyoungwriters@gmail.com. Once you submit the script, you will get an acknowledgement email. One can also send a hard copy of their script on below mentioned address :-

Please make sure, along with the script, one must have to submit a application form on email id mentioned above. Application form must have information like AppliPcant name, Father's/Mother's Name, Date of Birth (Attach DOB Proof), Age, Gender, Email Id, Mobile Number, Occupation, Qualification, Language of the script, Topic Name, A short description of script etc.



Yuva Scheme 2021 - Training Procedure :-

Training under the Yuva Mentorship Scheme, will be conducted in two Phase 

Phase 1 Will be Training for 3 Months.

Phase 2 will be Promotion (Last 3 Months).


                                      Training Phase (Starting 3 Months)

Once the Candidate selected, a Two Week Writer's Online Programme will be organised by NBT (National Book Trust). Mentor's will guide the candidates while training programme. After the completion of this two week Online programme, National Book trust will arrange for various Camps for learning purpose.


                                     Promotion Phase (Last 3 Months)

Under this phase, Youth authors will get a chance or opportunity to interact with the International personalities at various events like Book Fair, Cultural Programmes etc. Once the Mentorship programme completes, a scholarship amount of Rs 50,000 per month will be given to each Young authors as a part of Yuva Scheme. Books Written by Young authors will get published by the NBT (National Book Trust). Young Authors will also be rewarded as a 10% royalty amount on the successful  publication of books.
